A powerful team announced the launch of a fund of more than one billion dollars to invest in clean energy and thus fight global warming.
called "breakthrough energy ventures", the fund is led by bill gates and has big names like jeff bezos, founder of amazon, richard branson, creator of virgin and mark zuckerberg, founder of facebook .
the focus will be on investing in green energy research in various sectors, such as transport, electrical production, manufacturing, construction and agriculture.
"we will be open to everything that allows us to produce cheap and clean energy", explains bill gates.
